Graham Gordon Tjupurrula Born in 1975 in Kiwirrkurra, Western Australia, Graham paints regularly for Papunya Tula and his art is influenced by the old Pintupi artists who used very restricted colour palettes in depicting traditional stories. Graham has developed a strong linear style and his paintings represent the stories of the sacred men's Tingari Cycle. His work sells well both in Australia and internationally and one of his paintings was specially selected to feature on an Australian stamp in 2003. | see gallery |
