Mary Napangardi Brown

Mary is a talented Papunya Tula artist who has exhibited throughout Australia. Born in Nyirrpi, west of Yuendumu, she lives in Kintore with her husband, the acclaimed artist Ronnie Tjampitjinpa. Although Mary has clearly been influenced by Ronnie's style and draws on traditional themes such as 'Bush Tomato Dreaming', she has also developed her own bold style to depict the Mina Mina area of her birthplace where her Tingari ancestors travelled and created sacred sites.
